What's new and exciting....

Frankie, Juan and Juaquin have been enjoying the summer heat and hope that you all have too. The show season has been busy with more travel than previous years. Frankie decided to go to Traverse City, Michigan for 3 weeks this year. Frankie was a little apprehensive as she had never been to that show before and did not know what the footing and stables were going to be like. We are happy to say that everything was perfect!! The footing was great, the competition stiff and the horses all did their best. Winning a 1.30 m jumpers with Aslan and doing very well in the 6 yr old Young Jumpers with Masquerade and the 5 yr old classes with Stevie Wonder didn't hurt being away from home either. Knowing that she was going to be away for awhile Frankien and her husband, Juan, decided that it was only fair to make this a family affair and little Juaquin, who has just turned 2, went along with mom and dad. On the days off the family took advantage of the beautiful weather and surrounding waters by going to the beach and doing some seadooing.

It is hard to believe that September is upon us already. Look for Frankie and Masquerade and Stevie Wonder at the Tournament of Champions in Palgrave, Ontario, where they will be competing for top spots in the Young Horse Development Championships.
